Case Highlights

• Successfully defended a high-stakes challenge against the construction of a USD 246.56 Million government dam project, in Kiambu County.
• Successfully defended and secured the release of 187 civilian protestors arrested during the Kenya 2024 Finance Bill protests, in an extraordinary court session that lasted to 11:30 PM. Leading a team of 12 lawyers,
• Christine not only secured the liberty of the protestors, but this decision reinforced the principle that the legal fraternity and the Court would compel the executive to uphold the constitutional right to peaceful assembly and the promotion of the rule of law.
• Through a successful petition to the High Court of Kenya, Christine secured a landmark ruling that guaranteed Kenyans in the Diaspora the right to vote in the 2022 presidential elections.
• Successfully litigated a class-action suit on behalf of flower farm workers in Kenya, resulting in a Multi-Million Kenyan Shilling settlement for compensation and back-pay.
