Shahannah B. Abdoolakhan

Shahannah Abdoolakhan understands the challenges of today’s ever-changing regulatory landscape. When she created Abler in 2017, her main objectives were to assist the business community in complying with the rapid evolving local and international AML laws and standards. This purpose remains at the heart of Abler.

A reputed professional and having earned an MBA from Oxford Brookes, UK, Shahannah is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a Fellow of the International Compliance Association (FICA). Shahannah is a member of the Mauritius Institute of Directors (MIoD), the GCC Board of Directors Institute and the Dubai Business Women Council (DBWC).

Shahannah has exerted her talents as an accountant, consultant, regulator, and financial services experts, and has gained domestic and international exposure. Her talents have earned her several awards and accolades. Furthermore, she regularly participates in webinars and panel discussions.
