David re-joined Clyde & Co in March 2007 having previously been a partner there for some twelve years. He is based in the firm’s Doha office and advises on English and Qatar Law.
A Corporate and Commercial Lawyer, David has been in Qatar for over 5 years and has extensive experience advising on energy projects, as well as a broad range of banking, construction, employment and sponsorship related matters. He has also worked extensively for the Qatar Financial Centre and has assisted in drafting the legislation establishing the QFC and subsequent rules and regulations including the QFC’s employment regulations
