Marek Kacprzak studied law at the University of Toruń, Poland and Regensburg, Germany and gained professional experience working at Ernst & Young and also in the international law firms. He has substantial expertise in advising on Polish and international commercial, civil, corporate and M&A, maritime and transport law. He represents clients before Polish and foreign courts, including The European Court of Justice in Luxembourg, and before arbitral tribunals, inter alia in Vienna.
He is a member of international law associations: the German-Polish Law Association and the German-Nordic Law Association.
He has given lectures to foreign investors: in Kiel to the Industry and Commercial Chamber in Kiel (Germany) on Polish real estate law, in Gdansk to the German Association of Investors at the German Consulate on contract law, to lawyers associated at the German-Nordic Law Association on legal regulations concerning capital investments in Poland and also in Antwerp (Belgium) on lawyers’ fees and legal settlements.
He is the author of the publications Safe Contract, A Polish company – is a Polish company and also the co-author of the study The code of practice for lawyers in connection with new regulations on money laundering.
He is fluent in German and English.
