Herman Ljungberg is an expert in maritime and transport law in Finland. His expertise covers also maritime and transport insurance law. Herman has practiced maritime and transport law since 1993.
He assists domestic and foreign clients, wet and dry work: owners, shippers, liability insurers, cargo insurers, marine insurers, forwarding agencies, ports, terminals, yards and finance institutions. Herman has extensive experience in handling matters pertaining to different maritime accidents and related court proceedings. He has also vast experience in handling assignments related to salvage and aviation. Herman has broad experience of charter-party issues. Herman defends owners from boycotts. Herman is experienced also in issues related to cabotage, fairway dues, maritime subsidies and competition. Herman is shortlisted by many actors in the field of maritime and transport.
Herman has graduated from the University of Helsinki and he has studied maritime and transport law at the Scandinavian Institute of Maritime Law at University of Oslo.
Herman’s working languages are Finnish, Swedish and English. Herman is trained at the bench and he is a member of the Finnish Bar Association.
