Maarten Verhaghe has been affiliated with the Courtrai Bar since 2017 and the Ghent Bar since 2020. He focuses on corporate law with extensive specialization in ICT/IP law, GDPR and Cybersecurity.
Mr. Verhaghe has been teaching various legal subjects – including privacy and e-commerce – at the Syntra-West group and the HoWest (Graduate school) for ten years.
He is also a regular speaker at seminars and publishes within his field of expertise.
As a recognized and certified Data Protection Officer (DPO), he performs this function for various companies and institutions.
Mr. Verhaghe is also a member of the Benelux trademarks and models association (BMM); a professional association of legal specialists who are specialized in patents and/or trademarks issues.
