Nicholas Donnithorne

Nick is Group Partner and is head of Babbe LLP’s Trust and Pensions Department.

Nick joined after more than 15 years working for leading law firms based in the City of London, most recently as a partner at the global top 20 firm McDermott Will & Emery. From qualification Nick specialised in pensions law and related matters such as contingent scheme funding, legal covenant assessments and legal risk mitigation within pension and other commercial trust structures. Since joining Babbé LLP, Nick has broadened his trust based expertise and is now ranked a leading Guernsey, trusts lawyer advising on private and commercial trusts. His practice involves advising trustees, employers, beneficiaries and other professionals involved in the establishment, ongoing administration, re-structuring and termination of trusts as well as regulatory compliance and the development of new products. He has also advised governments and industry bodies on structural pension reform.
