Construction Claims Consultant – Shaun Kumar is a Fellow of the International Claims Contruction Professional and has 30 years of experience in the construction industry, assuming various roles with Contractors, Clients and Consultants.

He has handled a wide array of developments as an Owner’s Rep / Project Director, particularly in infrastructure, hotels, resorts, hospitals and airport developments. His role has covered leadership roles from the concept stages right through to handing over. His previous experience includes stints with large conglomerates and sovereign wealth funds in Malaysia, and stints overseas in Germany and Singapore.

Throughout his career, Shaun has continually developed his skills in dispute resolution and claims management and has been empanelled by the Asian International Arbitration Centre as a licensed adjudicator and mediator. He is as well an accredited expert by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors in the UK.

He graduated from Australia with a Masters in Construction Management (Univ. of New South Wales) and from UK with a Bachelors in Quantity Surveying University of Northumbria. His particular areas of expertise are in risk management and dispute resolution, which stands him in good stead as a contract and claims specialist with a keen understanding of the industry.
