Vladimir Khrenov

Vladimir Khrenov’s practice focuses on derivatives, structured financial products, banking and more recently on insolvency and asset recovery. Prior to joining MZS as a partner in 2006, he was head of the derivatives and structured products practice at a Magic Circle firm’s Moscow office. Before that he was head of the emerging markets derivatives practice at the London branch of JP Morgan.

Vladimir is the only Russian lawyer to have been included to the expert panel of P.R.I.M.E. Finance – a leading international organization focusing on disputes arising out of complex financial transactions.

Over the past years, Vladimir has advised and represented clients in matters involving bankruptcy and recovery and resolution proceedings of large Russian banks or their former controlling shareholders, cross-border asset recovery and bankruptcy-related international arbitration and cross-border litigation.

Vladimir is a graduate of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations and holds an LLM from Columbia University Law School. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
