Ziad Salloum, OSI, KSS, MCIArb

Ziad Salloum, OSI, KSS, MCIArb, is an award-winning legal advisor and arbitrator. He is the managing partner of Salloum & Partners LLC, one of the oldest law firms in Abu Dhabi. Since 2006, he has been providing expert legal counsel to UAE and foreign government entities, multinational corporations, healthcare providers, educational institutions, entrepreneurs and others on a diverse array of matters, including commercial contracts, employment, mergers and acquisitions, dispute resolution, and corporate governance.

A sought-after speaker at local and international conferences and universities, Ziad has presented and guest lectured on topics such as succession planning in family businesses, banking and finance, employment law, and arbitration.

He serves on several boards, including those of the Lycée Français International Theodore Monod and St. Mary’s Group of Schools. He was appointed to the Advisory Board of Abu Dhabi University’s College of Law in 2023. His past roles include board memberships with the International Lawyers Network and the French Business Group (now CCI France). 

Ziad holds an LLM from SOAS, a PgDL from the University of East Anglia, an LLB from Lebanese University, and a BBA from the American University of Beirut. He is admitted to the Beirut Bar.

He is fluent in English, French, Arabic, and Italian.

Ziad has received multiple honors, including knighthoods from The Vatican and the Republic of Italy.
