Gianesin Law Firm represents corporate and private clients in many commercial matters, in courts and for legal advice.
The firm daily advises on co-operation and collaboration agreements, strategic partnerships, buying and selling agreements, leasing agreements – and also works on M&A operations and other issues concerning corporate law, as well as real estate, Internet and privacy law.
At present, the firm is working intensively on legal advice and contract drafting for clients that work in the renewables energy sector, as well as in automation.
We also advise many entrepreneurs, assisting them in matters of business evolution and company growth.
Recently, the firm advised a small-business owner in the mechanical field in carrying out his company transformation, as well as updating the business setup to meet his family’s needs (in particular, governing the partnership with his brother and the generational change towards his children).
We were able to provide a complete re-organisation of the company profile from a one-man business to a group of three companies that were fully equipped to compete on a larger market.
Probably the rate of change, as far as technologies are concerned, as well as regulations.
Another important consideration is that, in the EU, there are generalised EU regulations combined with specific ones for each country. However, companies in differing jurisdictions frequently trade and interact each other. Therefore, it is important to ensure that there is legal integration, as well as the digital and technological development force to enable that.
Such challenges primarily concern the protection of innovation, and a need to take advantage of the opportunities that technological updates provide.
Our firm, along with its partners, also advise clients on IP protection and assist them in taking advantage of tax and financial benefits wherever possible.
It is possible! The new company law was approved recently, and while many changes were made affecting procedural law, further changes could still be necessary. However, I do not think many modifications are likely to be affected to commercial law in the near future.
